Chazwick Bradley “Chaz” Bundick (born November 7, 1986), known professionally as Toro y Moi, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Erin Armstrong
Erin is a contemporary figurative artist working and living in Toronto, Canada. Her work looks into the human imagination as it is expressed visually. She is particularly intrigued by the ways in which the mind can conjure and create worlds by piecing together memory, experience, and the ability of the mind’s eye to render a non-reality. She draws on the genre of portraiture as a foundation for these explorations, but chooses to depict not a person or sitter, but an atmosphere or sensation expressed inside the formal qualities of human shapes. Her work is sold internationally and has been exhibited in Canada, the US, Australia, London, Sweden and Scotland. She was selected by Saatchi Art as their “One To Watch” and by Saatchi Art’s chief curator, Rebecca Wilson, as one of “20 Emeriging Artist in the World to Follow”. Designlines Magazine named her one of Toronto’s “Six New Art Stars” and blogTO counted her in their “Top 10 Most Talked About Artists In Toronto”. Noteable named her one of their “Notable Young Entrepreneurs”. She is represented by Bau-Xi Gallery. Erin has recently collaborated on projects for The Drake Hotel, Kit + Ace, Anthroplogie, and Portia De Rossi and Ellen Degeneres’ new art line General Public Art, launching this Fall.
