øTheP: Where were you born? Where did you grow up?
AN: I was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1979. My family moved to Samutprakan, an industrial province near Bangkok, and grew up there.
øTheP: Who (or what) do you love?
AN: Family, besides that I love reading comic book, drawing, and being quiet.
øTheP: When did you first discover your creative talents?
AN: When I was young, I made a comic book by drawing in my homework book, and shared to my friends like a weekly magazine. So I think this is the beginning before learning art in high school.
øTheP: Who and/or what are some of your influences?
AN: Elliott Erwitt is the first influence of my photography. He is a street photographer and member of magnumphotos. I never forget the feeling when I saw his photographs in the first time. It seems to be discovering an amazing thing, and realized that my life will be changed because of him.
øTheP: How would you describe your art to someone who could not see/read it?
AN: My work is so simple, funny and weird, which you can find these things on the way home, supermarket, or neighborhood.
øTheP: How do you prepare yourself for a day of working? Rituals?
AN: Be prepared, camera must be carried on my hand with fully charged.
øTheP: Which is your favorite piece you have created? and Why?
AN: I like a photograph of woman who seems have wires out from her head. It looks very odd, and rarely to find it again.
øTheP: If you could spend the day with anyone, living or deceased, whom would you choose and what would hope to gain from the experience?
AN: Elliott Erwitt, it would be a big day, and great opportunity to up level of my photography skill.
øTheP: What is your secret ambition?
AN: Travelling and shooting in North Korea.
øTheP: What is your favorite word?
AN: Cool!
